In order to reduce the cluster risk for the Group which had grown significantly both organically and through acquisition, DKSH initiated a public listing in 2012. In this process, the company afforded its own small shareholders a unique exit opportunity in the IPO as well as fulfilling its agreement to provide the acquisition partners with an exit. Diethelm Keller Holding Ltd. thereby also reduced its ownership to below 50 % and returned to being a predominantly family-owned holding company
